报告摘要:

Emerging wearable and implantable biomedical devices have been significantly revolutionizing the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases. However, the geometrical and mechanical mismatch between tissues and devices remain great challenges for achieving optimal performances and functionalities for biomedical devices. Shape-adaptable biomedical devices enabling active compliance with human body tissues offer promising opportunities for addressing the challenges through programming their geometries on demand. Here, we first report our recent progresses on bio-adaptable flexible electronics with shape-morphing and anti-inflammatory capabilities, respectively. In addition, small-size soft actuators with both sensing and moving abilities are further introduced, which can be potentially used for diagnosis and treatment of disease. It can be envisioned that these shape-adaptable biomedical devices will shed light on the development of next-generation paradigms for wearable and implantable applications.
